Abstract

Abstract: This paper investigates how digital storytelling contributes to the development of critical and communicative thinking skills in secondary-school EFL learners. Based on classroom observations at Secondary School No. 5 in Namangan (2024–2025 academic year) and a synthesis of international research, it analyses how multimedia storytelling platforms (Canva Video, Padlet Stories, Narakeet) promote reflection, problem-solving, and creativity. Findings reveal that guided digital storytelling improves analytical speech, peer interaction, and confidence.
