DEVELOPING WRITING SKILLS THROUGH THE USE OF ONLINE LEARNING PLATFORMS

This article examines the issue of developing written English through online platforms. The aim of the study is to determine the effectiveness of digital tools in improving students' writing skills and analyze the methods of their use. The study involved more than 100 participants who regularly use online platforms. The results showed that students use YouTube the most, as well as Google Classroom, Padlet, Quizlet and Duolingo. The main difficulties encountered in writing assignments are grammatical errors, lack of vocabulary, logical organization of thoughts, starting and ending the writing. The article also analyzes effective methods for developing written speech. These are: collaborative writing, online editing and feedback, organizing written assignments in a digital environment and using gamification elements. These methods help to strengthen students' writing skills, increase creative thinking and motivation.
